Thanks

Hoping to have the time over the holidays to get the NPCs to where they can be talked to again.

NPCs can no longer walk over the character
The character can no longer walk over NPCs

I have it set up so that the NPCs will be easy to talk with now. I have decided to give each NPC a unique number, and just going to have the text saved up in appvars to be recalled, most likely the same with the sprite number that they use.

This may take a few days to deal with, as I not only need to add to the maps by replacing the ascii characters, I need to also go through and find out the value of each NPC. I will most likely cheat on that and have it display the values in the walking engine, and just walk up beside them and take notes XD

NPCs can now talk =D

The only thing I have forgotten to do is set up the sprite recall correctly, and I am working on that right now to figure out what I am doing wrong. Once I have this complete, a new screenshot will be popping up.

Edit:

This shows off a better view of invisible boundaries. aka, not just walking into grass sets things off. =]

And no, the game is faster than the screenshot. I don't know why it is showing up that slow. =/

Alright, I believe this shall be the final adjustments to page one of the status screen.

So, thoughts? Comments? Safe for me to go to work on page 2 now?

Edit: Some adjustments to the text placement to come later at the bottom left.

Here is the original: Image

Start of page 2

Got to do some filling in numbers into the list, so I can get some moves and such 'set' to have something to show.
